Election day

Today we voted. I have been voting since I was 18 years old. I think of it as my duty. It is a priviledge and honor to be able to do so. For the minute that I was in that voting booth, I held as much power in my hand as did George Bush or John Kerry. Both of them, in the booth, possessed only one thing. They each had one single vote.
Today was the first time that Chris voted. He turned 18 in July. It was exciting to watch him exercise his right for the first time.
