We are doing lock down drills today at school.
Level one .. we lock and close the classroom. We report any students not in class and note any students in our class that are not members.
Level two .. all of the above .. plus
Ignore fire alarms
Move students away from doors and windows
Stay out of line of sight of door and windows
Do not look out the window
Turn off lights and stay quiet
Make note of students not in assigned class
DO NOT open the door for anyone
Students outside of classrooms, report to restroom or teachers lounge
DO NOT let anyone leave the classroom
DO NOT call office for info
Stay in classroom until building is secure
If evacuation is necessary, one room will be released at a time
FUN FUN FUN
The mere fact that this is necessary is a sad commentary on our society.
